That pesky Angelina Jolie is doing it again, managing to look gorgeous and do good at the same time, appearing (allegedly) makeup free in a new Louis Vuitton ad. It really should be criminal for someone to look this good, especially in the middle of a marsh.
Photog Annie Leibovitz shot the ad, which features the 36-year-old in Cambodia's Siem Reap province with an LV Alto bag. Women's Wear Daily first featured the image, which is shot in a region close to where adopted 10-year-old son Maddox was born. Jolie's kids were along for the ride, but WWD says Leibovitz shooed four of them out of the shot to nail this pic.
"People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation," Vuitton executive VP Pietro Beccari said while giving WWD an exclusive first look at the pic, which will run in the International Herald Tribune on Wednesday before being splashed all over. "I like the fact that it's a real moment. This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand."
Also fundamental to the brand: Finding people who are much more attractive to pose in its "Core Values" campaign after Keith Richards scared us all awhile back. Yikes. KEEPING their hope in the tournament alive, members of the Philippine U14 Girl’s Football Team yesterday blanked Cambodia, 3-0 in the ongoing Asean Football Confederation (AFC) Festival of Football played in Vietnam.
Nina Ricci Sausi Yanto scored the Philippines’ first goal in the 12th minute of play to post a 1-0 lead in the ball game. Janice Uy Pia Samillano scored another goal in the 24th minute for a 2-0 advantage.
