Cambodia will dispatch 51 soldiers to take part in the Ayara Guardian 2011, a multi-national peace-keeping exercise, which is slated to hold in Thailand from June 13-July 1, Brig.
Gen. Ken Sosavoeun, deputy director of Cambodian military's Peacekeeping Operations Department, said Thursday.
The participation occurs at the mean time that Cambodian and Thailand troops are still confronting over the border dispute.
"The participation is a part of international peacekeeping operations under the
framework of the United Nations -- 15 countries will attend the upcoming exercise,"he told Xinhua by telephone.
