Missionary Kennedy Cruz will share his story about the work that he does in Cambodia during a presentation at 9 a.m. May 29 at Friendship United Methodist Church, 700 Barclay St.
Cruz serves with the Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. He is in mission in Cambodia with the Community Health and Agriculture Development Program as a community development specialist, serving in that position since October 2007.
Anyone interested in hearing about Cruz’s work is invited to attend.

Library to open late on Tuesday
The Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St., will open late on Tuesday.
The library will open at noon Tuesday.
Calendar contest deadline today
The deadline for entries to the Humane Society of Moffat County’s 2012 Pet Mates Calendar Contest is today.
The contest is free, and digital photo entries must be submitted
Photos should be horizontal, in .jpg format, and at least 200 dpi and six inches wide.
The name and age of the pet should be included, as well as the name of the owner and his or her phone number and email address.
No more than two entries per family, and submissions must have been taken within the last year.
Local business owners will judge the entries and choose a top 24. The public will vote by donation for the top 12.
Last Frontier group to host meeting
The Preserving the Last Frontier organization will host its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the library on the second floor at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.
